Law firm

The law firm of Škubla & Partneri s.r.o. (hereinafter the “Law Firm” or on this website “Škubla & Partneri”) is a limited liability company established and existing under Slovak law, having its registered office at Digital Park II, Einsteinova 25, 851 01 Bratislava, incorporated in the Commercial Register held at the Municipal Court Bratislava III, section Sro, insert no: 55759/B, identification number: 36 861 154.

 

The Law Firm is registered in the register of limited liability companies established for the purpose of practising the legal profession whose scope of business is to provide legal services, which register is held by the Slovak Bar Association seated at Kolárska 4, 813 42 Bratislava. Unless otherwise expressly stated, the partners and advocates in the Law Firm (hereinafter the “Advocates”) are members of the Slovak Bar Association and hold a licence to provide legal services as advocates in the Slovak Republic. The term “partner” as it relates to the Law Firm refers to the member of the Law Firm or to an advocate with similar qualifications and standing within the organisational structure of the Law Firm, but it does not necessarily mean that any equity interest is held in the Law Firm or the existence of an association or other partnership with the Law Firm. The Law Firm provides legal services in accordance with Act No 586/2003 on advocacy and on amending Act No 455/1991 on trade licencing (trade licencing act), as amended, with acts of general application, and the internal regulations of the Slovak Bar Association on the basis of individual legal services contracts concluded in advance. The Law Firm provides legal services for a fee agreed in advance pursuant to Directive No 655/2004 on fees and charges for legal services, as amended. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the Law Firm provides legal services within the Slovak Republic and those services are subject to the laws of the Slovak Republic and the jurisdiction of Slovak courts. The Law Firm and each individual Advocate carry professional liability insurance. You can obtain further information about the professional liability insurance carried by the Law Firm and the individual Advocates by visiting the Law Firm’s registered office.

 

The Law Firm is a registered payer of value added tax; our VAT number is SK2022736826.
If you are not satisfied with the legal services you received from the Law Firm, you may submit a complaint at the registered office of the Law Firm.

E-mail Comunication

The Law Firm’s Advocates are bound to hold in strict confidence any and all facts of which they learn in connection with practicing their profession as well as all personal data protected by law. All other Law Firm staff are bound by a similar obligation. The Law Firm employs reasonable means to protect the content of e-mail messages from access by third parties. Nonetheless, e-mail communication is not a secure form of communication. The Law Firm recommends you carefully consider the information you provide to us through e-mail communication. Particularly sensitive or confidential information should not be sent to the Law Firm without the use of the e-mail security elements specified by the Law Firm. The Law Firm shall not be held liable for any leak of the information sent to the Law Firm by e-mail without the use of the special security elements specified by the Law Firm.

 

E-mail sent from the Law Firm’s domain skubla.sk is scanned by an anti-virus programme before being sent. Nevertheless, the Law Firm recommends checking those e-mails (including any attachments) for the presence of viruses that may have infected them during transmission. The Law Firm accepts no liability for any virus contamination of those e-mails.

 

The information contained in e-mails sent from the Law Firm’s domain skubla.sk is confidential and intended solely for the one or more recipients indicated at the top of each e-mail (hereinafter “Authorised Recipient”) and may be the subject of personal data protection, personality rights, trade secret, copy rights or other legal privilege and/or prohibited from copying. Any publication, dissemination or copying of such e-mail by a person other than the Authorised Recipient is unlawful. If you have received an e-mail and are not the Authorised Recipient, the Law Firm requests that you send it back to the sender without delay or call the Law Firm on +421 (2) 577 88 800, 810 to report the receipt of such an e-mail and delete the e-mail message from your system. The content of e-mail sent from the Law Firm’s domain skubla.sk is the sole responsibility of its author; e-mail sent from that domain in no event constitutes the acknowledgment of the e-mail by the owner of the domain or its liability in connection with such e-mail.

 

Unless otherwise stated on the Website, it is not necessary to provide personal data which is subject to the consent of the concerned person under Act No 428/2002 on personal data protection, as amended, prior to the engagement of legal representation or similar legal relationship created between the Law Firm and any other person. In the event such data is provided to the Law Firm, the Law Firm shall immediately delete it.
